Member support plays a vital role in assuring Oglethorpe University Museum of Art's continuing ability to provide the highest quality original art exhibitions to the Atlanta community.

On May 12, 1998, His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited Oglethorpe University Museum of Art and viewed the exhibition.

Past contributions of our members and sponsors have made it possible for us to regularly offer originally conceived and curated exhibitions such as The Mystical Arts of Tibet Featuring Personal Sacred Objects of the Dalai Lama and many others.

We also offer both a modest admission fee of only $5.00, and ample free parking for our visitors -- making the experience of culture through the arts open to everyone who seeks to share in it with us. The support of our members has contributed significantly to making this important goal a reality. (Children under 12 are admitted free.)

Your OUMA membership will entitle you to a 10% discount at the Museum Gift Shop, $3.00 off* on tickets to the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, invitations to special "members only" events held at the museum, and discounts for OUMA lectures and concerts. You will also receive our newsletter and special announcements of upcoming events and exhibitions.
