Georgia O'Keeffe:
The Artist's Landscape

Todd Webb captured Georgia O'Keeffe in his camera
over a twenty-five year period ending in 1981. Their friendship clearly
comes through in this sensitive series that shows the private person
O'Keeffe went out of her way to protect. These photographs are not
paparazzi shots; Georgia O'Keeffe "opened up" because she
was in the presence of her very good friend, Todd Webb. Todd Webb,
at the time almost 90, and his gracious wife, Lucille, came here during
the exhibition and charmed us all. Mr. Webb passed away on April 15,
2000 at the age of 94.
