The Georgia Watercolor Society (GWS) presents its 41st National Watercolor Exhibition, a juried show open to all watercolor artists across the United States. The show will feature original artwork using watermedia.
The exhibition will be juried by Linda Baker. Linda Baker is a signature member of a number of societies including AWS, NWS, TWSA, and GWS. Her paintings appear in the Splash series along with the Artistic Touch and the Masters of Watercolor Artists by Konstantin Sherkov. She has been featured in American Artist, The Artist Magazine, L’Aquarelle, and The Watercolor Magazine. Her awards include the Adirondacks, Fallbrook Signature Exhibition, along with the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society. Her work was featured in the Shanghai Biennial, Shenzhen 2013, and will be included in the Shenzhen Biennial this year in China.
The Georgia Watercolor Society was formed in March 1975 to advance the art of watercolor painting while contributing to the cultural atmosphere and standards of the state of Georgia. It also provides support and assistance for its members and others endeavoring in the field of watercolor painting.
