January 20 – June 24, 2018

This inaugural exhibition highlights selected works from the permanent collection of Oglethorpe University Museum of Art that align with current course offerings.

The permanent collection of OUMA is unique in that it has been composed almost entirely of works of art that have been donated rather than by purchase. The goal of the museum’s permanent collection is to benefit our students and faculty by utilizing the collection’s pedagogical value and to bring the classroom into the museum.

Organized by John Daniel Tilford, Curator of Collections, OUMA
