The Southeastern Pastel Society hosts its 16th International Juried Exhibition, featuring 100 pastel paintings selected out of 314 works submitted. The artists represented are from 16 states.

The exhibition is juried by Liz Haywood-Sullivan, president of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS). Ms. Haywood Sullivan serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Pastel Journal and holds Signature Memberships in the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society, and Pastel Painter’s Society of Cape Cod. She has also earned membership in the Academic Artists Association, the Salmagundi Club of New York City, and IAPS Master’s Circle.

The Southeastern Pastel Society was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting pastel as a medium in the Southeast. The society has grown to approximately 200 members from all over the United States and other nations throughout the world, and includes many nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.
